KCRI College was established in 1988 under management of National Technical Education Society, Alwar. The motive of the society is to provide Technical, Professional Education at low cost. The Society is a registered society vide Registration No. 69/ALW/94-95 with Government of Rajasthan, Registrar Societies Department. The Society have 15 skilled and dedicated members in its managing committee. This Society is a Non-Profitable Organization.

The Mission of the society is to provide world class quality education to the inspired youth who join the college and promote them towards enterprising spirit through a different kind of education.

KCRI College have three campus as under:

- Campus-1: 4 Gha 30 Manu Marg, Housing Board, Alwar - This campus is situated in the heart of the cirty. The covered area of this campus is about 8000 sq.ft.

- Campus-2: 6th Milestone Tijara Road, Jharkhera, Alwar - The best location of Alwar dist. as it is much quite much away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too much so that the visitors feel problem. The college covers an area of 1, 08,000 sq. ft. of land.

- Campus-3: Scheme 5, Near Radio Station, Alwar.

- Knowledge City School (Sister Concern) – An English Medium Co-Education Sr. Secondary School.

KCRI College provides Job oriented & Competitive Exams Trainings and placement assistance to those students who are doing his UG/PG Degree program like BCA, B.Sc.(PCM), BBA, B.Com., BA, MCA, M.Sc.(Physics), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Botany), M.Sc.(Zoology), M.Sc. (Computer Science), MCA, MBA, B.Lib., M.Lib, MSW, PGDCA, DCA, Diploma in Computer Accounting, PG Diploma in Hotel Management, Fashion Technology etc. from the Universities and RS-CIT from RKCL. KCRI College is associated with Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal to run regular degree courses like BCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), PGDCA, DCA etc. since 1990.

In 2010-11 KCRI College was affiliated with University of Rajasthan, Jaipur to run BCA, BBA, B.Com. & B.Sc. programs. KCRI provides Training & Placement assistance to students of Singhania University, Pacheri, Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan).
